Hi there! It’s been a busy day here today as I’ve played with some new products, coached team members and caught up with a couple of demonstrator friends. That’s kind of a perfect day for me! Just the title alone – Count My Blessings for GDP103 – sounds like it goes with my day. But in fact, I used the set in an alternative way to create a card for him. Not that I’m not thankful for him!
Count My Blessings for GDP103
I made my card to go along with the GDP103 Masculine card challenge for this week.
Though I chose to use them in a different way, I love the clean images in the Count My Blessings stamp set and the easy to use sentiments.
My card base is Dapper Denim.
Over that is a piece of Very Vanilla with a piece of Merry Little Christmas designer paper down one side.
Then, it was time to do some Molten Embossing in Copper.
Next, I cut circles in Dapper Denim and Very Vanilla.
I stamped the acorn image from Count My Blessing in Dapper Denim.
THEN…I tried something new!!
I dotted on Fine Tip Glue and sprinkled it with Copper Embossing Powder.
The glue holds it shape and you get nice little domed bits of embossing.
Moving on, I cut Old Olive and Very Vanilla circles.
Then, I used the Labeler Alphabet to create my sentiment.
Once Dimensionals were added all around,
I tucked in a couple of pieces of 1/4″ Copper Trim that I had tugged and stretched.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Count My Blessings for GDP103 masculine card!
