Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin the artful inker. I picked up my daughter on Thursday and we’re spending another day with family before she has to head back to school. Yesterday we did a little hiking. And today, we’ll go to a niece’s concert. It’s been sooo good to see almost everybody! For you, I’ve got a Climbing Roses thank you card. You’re going to love this clean and simple look!

Climbing Roses Thank You Card

For today’s card, you’ll want the Climbing Roses stamp set.

It’s on page 9 of the Occasions Catalog or

see the details HERE

And though the Rose Trellis Thinlits were not used today,

I thought I would share them since they coordinate with the

Climbing Roses stamp set and are almost sold out.

The tag and trellis pieces are particular favorites of mine!

For this card, start with a Thick Whisper White base.

Then, add a layer of Granny Apple Green.

On the Whisper White focal layer,

stamp the image from Climbing Roses in Versamark.

Then, heat emboss in white.

With your Aqua Painter, add Lovely Lipstick ink to the roses

and Granny Apple Green ink to the leaves.

Tip: Apply ink a little here and a little there to keep the cardstock from becoming saturated.  Let it dry before adding more color.

On a Basic Black strip, stamp the sentiment in Versamark

and heat emboss with white.

Add the sentiment with Dimensionals to finish

this clean and simple card.
