I’m feeling pretty pleased with myself today! I just love when one idea sparks the next idea. That’s what happened yesterday. As I completed the new pocket card design, I had an “aha” moment for making the gift card holder I’m going to show you today.
I loved using the Circle Card Thinlit for this so much that I didn’t stop at making one or two. There are three samples today! And a video “how to” as I know you’re going to want to make these as well.
My first sample was created to be appropriate for many occasions.
I used the BYOP stamp set.
There’s a bit of Sweet Sadie washi tape and some Gold Baker’s Twine.
On the inside, I’ve paired a couple of the sentiments from BYOP on the center medallion.

Easy, right?!
As I said, I got a little carried away.
My second Circle Card Thinlit gift card holder is designed with a wedding in mind.
On the outside of this gift card holder, I used Something Lacy stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. Then, I topped the image with “Happy” cut from Silver Glimmer Paper.
The sentiment is a mix of words from Crazy About You and So You. For this gift card holder, I’ve used another design in the Sweet Sadie washi collection.

And for my last sample today, I used Butterfly Basics.
The butterfly was cut from a piece of Flower Pot designer paper. The busy paper makes for a really interesting butterfly!
I’ve used Basic Gray, Blushing Bride and Garden Green inks. They play well with the designer paper.
The inside features a sentiment from Butterfly Basics and Sweet Dreams washi tape.
I’m loving how pretty and easy these are to make. There will be more!
