Christmas Quilt Fast Friday Card

I made a quick trip out to visit my daughter.  We had a fun day that included doing a scavenger hunt.  That was a great way to see some new things where she lives.  There are several different hunts available and we might just do another one or two.   While she was busy, I put together a quick, clean and simple card.  My Christmas Quilt Fast Friday card is an easy way to use the stamp set beyond the holidays.  The stamp set and coordinating dies will be available on September 1 in the Holiday Catalog.

I started with a Basic Black base and added a Whisper White layer.

Then, I used the rhombus image from Christmas Quilt

and stamped two rows in Basic Black.

It was really easy to line up the image for a repeated pattern!

Next, I used a strip of Pick a Pattern washi.

For the sentiment, I cut a piece of Whisper White with the Everyday Label Punch.

After adding strips of Pick a Pattern washi to the top and the bottom of the label,

I stamped “hello” from Sunshine Sayings.

I just love a stamp set with lots of words that can be combined!

For final embellishments,  I used Black Rhinestone Jewels and some Black Metallic Thread.
