Hi! I’m Sara Levin the artful inker and independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in the United States. Welcome to my blog! Today, I’ve got a Christmas Banners Candy Cane Dies Christmas card and video tutorial to share with you. You’re going to love how easily this pretty card comes together!
Christmas Banners Candy Cane Dies Christmas Card

To create today’s card I used the Christmas Banners Bundle along with the Candy Cane Dies from Stampin’ Up!
I know I’ll be pairing them up for a few more cards before my holiday card making is finished for the year.
Christmas Card

I love a non-traditional color combination for Christmas cards. And that’s exactly where I started for this card.
The Stampin’ Up! color combo is Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron, Shaded Spruce and Sweet Sorbet.
I also a love a good banner! And the Christmas Banners stamp set and coordinating dies have three good banners. They’re the kind of thing I reach for when I want to make a sentiment forward card as they do a lot of the design work.

You can see from the card that I did minimal stamping aka none outside of the sentiment.
For the rest of the card, I combined elements from the Candy Cane Dies with elements from the Christmas Banner Dies. I know I’ll be using both sets of dies often. The texture from the background die is great and the banners and greenery choices give me lots of additional layering texture options.
