Hi there and welcome! I’m in a creating and list making frenzy. In case you forgot ( 😉 ) Thanksgiving is just a few days away. I’ve been making lists of things I want to accomplish and of course my grocery list. Don’t want to forget any of the ingredients! The first thing I played with today was Cheery Chirps with Painted Autumn. So, that’s what I’m going to share!

I have been having the most fun coloring with Stampin’ Blends!
Somebody is going to have to take them from my hands.
Today, I started with a Pool Party cardstock base.
Then, I added a layer of Very Vanilla.
On the Very Vanilla, I scribbled with the Light and Dark Pool Party Blends.
Then, I scribbled in some Color Lifter to create a little more visual texture.
At the bottom, I’ve added a strip of Painted Autumn designer paper.

Next, I stamped the large bird from Cheery Chirps.
Then I colored him in with both light and dark Daffodil Delight and Old Olive.
As you can see, you can create quite a lot of color variation with these four shades.

After coloring the seed pods and berries, I added a little dome of Fine Tip Glue to the berries.
Next, I cut the bird out by hand.
Tip: I didn’t cut all the way around the stem and seed pods in the bird’s beak. Instead, I used my Pool Party Stampin’ Blends to color the small bit of Very Vanilla cardstock so that it blends into the background.

Then, I finished the card with part of a doily and some gold thread.
