I’ve been busy today! First it was making blueberry waffles for breakfast and then baking a pan of Lemon Love Notes. From there it was time to make a birthday card and then run out for the gift. Yes, I procrastinated a bit! There’s still dinner to make — chana pindi has been requested, that will be the next thing on the agenda.
This is the fun/fancy fold card I created for the birthday.
I used the Little Letters thinlits for my words. They were the perfect size! My Brights designer paper stack came in handy for the sides of the card and the banner along the top.
The banner was punched with the Petite Pennants Builder punch (retiring) and “strung” on a piece of Gold Bakers Twine using Glue Dots.
And since she likes her glitz, there’s a bit of Gold Glimmer Paper in the center of the card under “Happy”.
I’m quite pleased with this new style card! Even more so since it got a little squeal a few minutes ago when the card was opened.
That was lovely! It’s not often that I get to see someone open one of my cards.
Hope you’re having a fabulous day. I must dash so that I will have dinner ready and we can continue the celebration.
