My daughter and I enjoyed her first day of Spring Break by going to the movies today. We saw Divergent. Good movie — neither of us has read the book. We were discussing we thought about the movie as we had dinner. We both made some comparisons to other books/movies. We would say that if you read the Uglies series and liked it then you’ll like this one too. There are some definite similarities, as there are with the Hunger Game series as well. And if by chance you’ve watched/read the Divergent series but neither of the other two, then here’s a recommendation for your reading list.
