Cactus Cuties Card

Here’s another quick and easy card to go with the series that I have shared this past week.

Today’s card uses the Cactus Cuties stamp set from the January June 2022 Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog.  The stamp set is part of a Bundle that includes the Cactus Builder Punch (more on that below).

I decided that any shade of green was too obvious a color choice for the cactus so, I had to play with something else.  Using Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay, I’ve given the cactus an unexpected pop of color.

 

To go with this bright, fresh card design, I used a masked sentiment.  By eliminating some of the words in the original sentiment this card is now perfect for sending as a thank, congratulations on a job well done or even as a just because friendship card.

In my case, this card will go out in the morning to thank my niece for her hospitality on New Year’s Eve.  It was definitely “on point”!
