It’s been an exciting few days here as the project group my daughter has been working with strove to finish their project. Gotta give these kids credit!, though they started in plenty of time it still wasn’t coming together. They put in 188 combined hours on the project. Last night was an all nighter for most of the group. Mine came home for a couple of hours of sleep before starting the final task that had to wait on the rest to be finished. I spent most of my day watching a computer so that it wouldn’t turn off before the huge upload had finished. Once that was done late this afternoon, I was raring to go on the creative front. I knew exactly what I wanted to make.
I combined the Botanical Builder Framelits (love them!) with this week’s Fusion card challenge.
I started with a Daffodil Delight chevron on my Whisper White layer.
Then I added another Whisper White layer — this time an oval.
Next,
I used the Botanical Builder Framelits to cut a series of Blushing Bride and Melon Mambo flowers along with a few Garden Green fronds.
I stacked and layered the flowers, adding some dimensionals underneath and Basic Pearls as accents on the top.
Finally,
I used a sentiment from Sunburst Sayings and inked it in Daffodil Delight.
I think this sentiment fits perfectly with the feel of the card.
