Hi! I’ve had a little play with the Global Design Project sketch challenge today before I head off to the Kutztown Folk Festival. It’s one of our annual parts of summer that my daughter and I look forward to! My Bloomin’ Love for GDP094 card plays with the idea of watercolor. I’m sure that we’ll see some lovely watercolor artwork in some of the craft stalls today. More about that another day!

I started with a Powder Pink card base.
Then, I used a layer of Watercolor Paper.
Ink really moves beautifully on this paper!

First, I used a Stampin’ Spritzer to lightly spray the Watercolor Paper.
Then, I used an Aqua Painter to pick up some Powder Pink ink refill from the lid of the
Powder Pink Stampin’ Pad.
Next, I cut strips of Fresh Florals Designer Paper and
one strip of Copper Foil Sheet.
I cut a small Stiched Framelits circle from Whisper White
and stamped an image from Bloomin’ Love in Powder Pink.
On a narrow strip of Powder Pink cardstock, I stamped the sentiment
in Versamark and then heat embossed in Copper.
Behind the Whisper White circle, I added loops of Copper Metallic Thread as a finishing detail.
