Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin the artfulinker. Today, I want to say thank you to Beth, a new blog follower. She contacted me yesterday to let me know what kinds of cards she likes to make. That’s so helpful for me to know, as I create things to share with you! So today when I decided to ink up my new Bloom by Bloom stamp set, my initial thought was to do a Fast Friday card (my nickname for cards that are clean and simple with no layers). However I got carried away (a little bit) and, instead, did Bloom by Bloom three ways: beginner/don’t have much time/like clean and simple; casual/like to step it up a little; avid/bring on the tools and details/I’ve got more time. I liked the initial clean design so much, that I kept all three cards fairly clean.
Bloom by Bloom Three Ways
Beginner/Clean and Simple
For this first card, pull out your Whisper White Note Cards and Envelopes!
Begin my stamping the row of dots in Coastal Cabana
near the bottom of the note card and along the edge of the envelope.
Then stamp the two Bloom by Bloom stem pieces in Granny Apple Green,
stamping off first.
Next, stamp the two blooms in Blackberry Bliss.
And finish with the trio of dots in Pineapple Punch.

Bloom by Bloom Three Ways
Casual Crafter/Slightly Stepped Up
For the casual crafter card, start with a Thick Whisper White base: 4″ x 5-1/2:
Add a layer of Coastal Cabana: 3-3/4″ x 5-1/4″
The Whisper White focal layer: 3-1/2″ x 5″
Repeat the stamped design from the first card.
Create more of a random background pattern with the trio of dots
and Pineapple Punch.
Finish with Old Olive Linen Thread and Iridescent Sequins.

Bloom by Bloom Three Ways
Avid Crafter/Bring on the Tools/I’ve got more time!
For this card, start with a Thick Whisper White base: 4″ x 5-1/2:
Cut a layer of Coastal Cabana (3-3/4″ x 5-1/4″)
with the largest Rectangle Stitched Framelit to add detail to the layer.
The Whisper White focal layer: 3-1/2″ x 5″
Then stamp the Bloom by Bloom design as in the casual card above.
Next, stamp the blooms a second time on a scrap piece of Whisper White.
And stamp the four petal flower in Petal Pink on Whisper White.
Cut these three pieces out by hand.
Then, divide the four petal flower into 3 petals and 1 petal.
Add three of the four petals to the larger bloom and
the remaining petal to the smaller flower.
Adhere the Blackberry Bliss blooms slightly offset over theif
matching bloom with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Embellish with Iridescent Sequins and Old Olive Linen Thread.
