Hi! I’m Sara Levin the artful inker. Welcome to my blog! Ever start the day in a grumpy mood and you know you’ve got to pull yourself out of it? That was me today! No real reason but…it was effecting my productivity. That is until I decided just to grab and stamp and do some coloring. Wow was that mood changer!! And the funny (and good) thing is, you’d never know that this Bloom and Grow for TGIFC217 card started out as bad mood medicine.

Bloom and Grow for TGIFC217

For this week’s TGIF Challenge,

you need to add ribbon ruffles to your creation.

As I worked on today’s card,

I decided to play along with TGIFC217

For this card, you’ll need a Thick Whisper White base.

Then, add a panel of Seaside Spray.

Using the Stitched Lace die,

emboss the Seaside Spray panel.

Then cut a piece of Whisper White with a Stitched Nested Label

and the Stitched Lace die.

Stamp two sets of the flowers from Bloom and Grow

in Basic Gray on Whisper White.

Then color them with Stampin’ Blends before

cutting with the coordinating Budding Blooms die.

Use some of the Scalloped Linen Ribbon to create a

ribbon ruffle.

Then add your sentiment on a 1″ Circle Punch.

Finally, accent with Rhinestones.

Even now, it makes me smile!
