Hi!  Welcome to my blog.  I’m Sara Levin the artful inker.  Busy day today!  First, I got another edition of my newsletter out the door.  Then, I worked on some of the things that I’m putting together for my daughter.  I’ll be sharing those over the next week.  Prepped my end of July thank you cards and then created a clean and simple Blended Seasons in Cajun Craze card.  So, a fun day!

Blended Seasons in Cajun Craze

 

 

For my card, I used a Thick Very Vanilla base.

Then, I cut a piece of Cajun Craze to create a tight mat for the Very Vanilla focal layer.

Next, I used the falling leaves from Blended Seasons and stamped in Cajun Craze.

 

 

 

To create my custom sentiment, I masked two different sentiments from Blended Seasons

with washi tape.

Then, I stamped just the words I wanted on a Tailored Tag Punch.

Using the Stamparatus made lining up the different sentiment pieces a snap!

 

 

To create a Cajun Craze mat for my Tailored Tag Punch, I punched two pieces from Cajun Craze.

Then, I cut one in half horizontally and the other vertically before

adhering them to the back of the sentiment piece.

 

Finishing details for this card: loops of Copper Metallic Thread and

copper sequins from the Metallics Assortment.
