Hi there and welcome! When I went to OnStage last week, I participated in swaps with two of the design teams I’m a member of. Today, I thought I would share the card I made for the swap themed fancy folds and creative cuts. My Birthday Blooms OnStage Swap was/is a creative cut. Let’s take a look at this fun to create card.

I started with a Very Vanilla cardstock base.
Then, I lined the inside of the card with Pink Pirouette cardstock.
For the inside, I left a 1/8″ border on three sides.
Now for the fun!

For the card front, I began by stamping the flower from Birthday Blooms.
With my creative cut in mind, I positioned the flower so that the pair of leaves pointed down.
Then, I stamped a second flower on Very Vanilla and colored it using Stampin’ Blends.
Once the flower was finished, I cut it out by hand.
For the creative cut, I measured a diagonal from the pair of leaves
and cut it away on both sides using the Stampin’ Trimmer.
I cut the pair of leaves out by hand.
Next, I affixed the colored flower.
After that, I embossed a splatter of dots and the sentiment with copper embossing powder.
And, I finished the card with a few copper sequins.
I’m already thinking how else I can use this creative cut!
