I must apologize. I was out of town for the weekend visiting my mom and siblings; we got back late on Sunday as there was no rush since there was no school on Monday. Now on Monday I did record the video I promised in Sunday’s post. But frankly, I can’t resist spending time with my daughter when she has time off.
Then yesterday, I couldn’t post the video as I shared my inspiration piece for the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday design team. So, here we are today! I’ve got a little twist on the Berry Basket and that promised video…and another idea or two brewing for the Berry Basket. So if you’re loving it or if you’re on the fence about it, be sure to check back for a couple of more alternative ideas.
I’ve turned my Berry Basket into a closed box with a lid and this time I thought, “why not see what a handle would look like on it?” I like it!

Here’s a quick video on making the lid in three different sizes:

Once I had the lid on, I wanted to see what size things might fit. I was delighted to find
that love note size cards fit perfectly.
So, I made up a batch of them.
These are simple, combining Crazy About You and the So You thinlits and accented with washi and candy dots.
I’ve put six of these notes along with envelopes in the box but, I think that 10 to 12 would fill it completely making a wonderful gift or accessory for a desk in which to have a quick note handy.
