I enjoyed a lovely day in Pittsburgh with my daughter yesterday. We mostly did a whole lot of nothing but hanging out together. And that was okay by both of us! We tried a new to me restaurant – Gaucho Parrilla Argentina. Yummy! Totally worth the wait. We like trying new foods and are always excited to share a new find. Last night we went to the Pops concert. It was a nice way to spend the evening. I’m already looking to see what the date is of the next concert. We even managed to take a couple of pictures together as a reminder of another good weekend together. Now pictures need a place. And today, I’ve got a Beetles and Bugs scrapbook page to share.

Beetles and Bugs Scrapbook Page
In case you don’t already know, I’m having a great time playing with the Beetles and Bugs stamp set.
The main element is the massed bugs.
They’re created in a two step stamping process.
The simple Bermuda Bay border and photo mats
add color without fighting the bright bugs for attention.
The Stitched Shapes circles were added directly to the corners of the photo mats.
And the bug circle embellishments were added on Dimensionals.
This adds both a little visual interest and
allows you to create your page first and then slide the photos in later —
My favorite way to create pages.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Beetles and Bugs scrapbook page.
