I had a lovely weekend visiting with my mom. And Saturday was extra good! My sister contacted me as I finished up my morning coffee and computer time at Panerra and asked if we had any plans for the day. I was heading home to pick up mom and go out for breakfast. My sister was able to come over and meet us. But better still, she had time to spend the whole day with us. Which for us meant just hanging out and talking. I played with some of my new tools while we caught up on everybody’s lives. It was the perfect way to spend a day! Now it’s time to check out today’s Basket Bunch Window Box for Easter!

Basket Bunch Window Box for Easter
Yesterday, I had a class where we used the Window Box Thinlits.
We made a few boxes for different occasions and no occasion at all.
This one was obviously for Easter.
We used the Basket Bunch stamp set to help with the decoration.
After stamping the bunny and marshmallow bunnies (they look like Peeps to me) in Soft Suede, I cut them and the eggs with the Basket Builder Framelits.
The color palette for this box was: Soft Suede, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride, Soft Sky and Whisper White.
The basket is a die cut from the Window Box Thinlits.
It was stamped with the Hardwood stamp inked in Soft Suede.
The Window Box was assembled so that it rests on what is usually a side and opens in half.
Tip: I prefer Tear and Tape as the adhesive for this box. It’s both strong and easy to use!
The Pear Pizzazz grass that was cut with Fringe Scissors is perfect for hiding the slit in the middle where the box opens.
I’ve added a Blushing Bride bow to the top. It was created with the Bow Builder punch and finished with a Blushing Bride sequin.
Tip: Use your Bone Folder to slightly soften the punched pieces so that it is easy to shape the bow. Glue Dots are perfect for adhering the pieces.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Basket Bunch Window Box for Easter.
