This is another of my “you can use the set for something different”. I love the Basket Bunch stamp set. So many images to play with!! But, I don’t only want to use it for Easter. The other day when I was on Pinterest, I added this picture:
to my Inspiration Board
This morning, I decided to go ahead and make the card that this
picture put into my head.
The carrots from Basket Bunch were perfect
for recreating the idea represented
by the flowers on the door.
I used a Thick Whisper White base.
Next, I cut three panels from Whisper White cardstock.
Using a ruler and a Smoky Slate Stampin’ Write Marker,
I drew the rectangles on each of the panels.
Then, I used a Sponge Dauber and Smoky Slate ink to shade
the edges of each panel.
Wild Wasabi and Tangerine Tango Stampin’ Write Markers were used
to color the carrot stamp from Basket Bunch.
I stamped several carrots and then cut them out with the
coordinating Basket Builder Framelits.
After arranging my carrots, I adhered them to the door panels.
Then, I tied a multi-loop bow with Linen Thread and
adhered it with a Glue Dot.
Finally, I used images from Thoughtful Banners inked in Wild Wasabi.
They were cut with the Duet Banner Punch.
The sentiment is from Basket Bunch and inked in Tangerine Tango.
It was easy to get it to fit the shape of the punched banner since the stamp is photopolymer.
Adding a couple of pieces of Adhesive Foam Strips to the banner
brought it to just above the height of the carrot bunch.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Basket Bunch card.
I’ll be giving it the volunteer who organized tonight’s Jazz Festival.
