It’s the first day of Spring and I really wanted to make a card. But, my brain kept saying 3D! The struggle is real!! So, I turned to a sketch challenge to help get my brain into cardmaking mode and created a Basket Bunch spring card.

Basket Bunch Spring Card
I used Basket Bunch to make this
just because
or
thank you card.
I started with the PCC235 sketch.
Clean and simple with some fun layers!
You should try it!
I used Cucumber Crush as my card base.
It’s been layered with a strip of Affectionately Yours designer paper
and a piece of Whisper White cardstock.
Next, I cut a piece of Cucumber Crush with one of the Layering Circles and
added a Whisper White circle that had been cut with a Stitched Shapes die.
Using stamps from Basket Bunch, I stamped the Daffodil flower and the leaves/stem.
Tip: Since the stamps are photopolymer, you can bend them. So, I used the stem
to also make the leaves.
I used a coordinating die from Basket Builder Framelits to cut out the flower.
The stem/leaves were cut by hand since I had altered the shape.
Under the circles are a strip of Affectionately Yours washi
and a piece of Daffodil Delight on which was stamped the sentiment,
also from Basket Bunch.
The outside was finished with a piece of Whisper White Baker’s Twine
tied through a Falling In Love embellishment
and three gold sequins from Sequin Trim.
The inside was finished simply, with a piece of
Affectionately Yours washi.
