I’m in Pittsburgh visiting my daughter today. So, when I packed my things I brought along a few items with which to create. I figured that while she was in class, I could make a card and then work on a few other things I’ve been putting off. I’ve been a good girl and resisted the beautiful temperature outside.
Last week, I made an Avant Garden card
that has been hugely popular on a
sharing site for demonstrators.
Here it is in case you didn’t see it.
When I packed my things, I wasn’t sure what I was going to make.
But when I started this afternoon, I decided to make the same card
but with different colors and designer paper.
This time, I used Affectionately Yours designer paper.
The Affectionately Yours designer paper is beautiful with this card!
And the Watermelon Wonder flowers from Avant Garden are a perfect
along side the bright, cheery paper.
Night of Navy of was used for the spots and sentiment
to pull in the background color.
To finish the card, I added three Basic Rhinestones by the
sentiment.
When I was in the lobby of my hotel taking pictures of this card,
I overheard a conversation about help someone was giving the person talking.
So, I walked over and gave her this card to give to her helper.
In the demonstrator group I mentioned at the top,
I was asked several times for a tutorial for this card.
I’ve created one and you can receive it free
simply by shopping with me through the end of March.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my Avant Garden and Affectionately Yours card.
