Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin the artful inker. Today, I’m sharing a card and video showing how to create AMAZING color for Lasting Lily! I was inspired by a creation from my Australian demo friend Cheryll Miller. And had to create my own version to share with you!
AMAZING Color for Lasting Lily

I’m sure by now that you have seen the Lasting Lily stamp set that is
Free during Sale a Bration with a $100 product order in my store.
Today’s card pumps up the color!
Start with a Thick Whisper White base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″
Add a Melon Mambo layer: 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
Cut a Whisper White focal panel: 4″ x 5-1/4″

Using the Stamparatus,
ink the Cala Lily blooms directly onto the focal panel.
Set up the leaves and stems from Lasting Lily
and ink them on a separate piece of Whisper White.
Here’s a quick video for the coloring technique used.

Trim with a 1/8″ strip of Melon Mambo.
Add the leaves and stems to the stamped blooms
and trim at the bottom of the panel as necessary.

The Lily Framelits coordinate with Lasting Lily!

This indeed is a beautiful card but upon further examination it looks to require a lot of fussy cutting to eliminate the white “borders” from the dies. I looked for more explicit instructions to assist me in making this card but unfortunately could not find any. However, I will attempt to make one.
Kathy, I’m so sorry that you didn’t notice the directions in the blog post. I gave all of the measurements and even included a video for the inking technique. You’re correct about the fussy cutting. At the time I made this card, the dies were not yet in my hands. So yes, I fussy cut. Having the dies will make the fussy cutting easier! So much less to trim. Of course, if you wish to avoid that last bit of fussy cutting, you can just use the inking technique shared in the video to take care of those white edges. Have fun making your card.
