Hi! welcome to the Aim for Alaska Blog Hop! I’ve been participating in the Aim for Alaska training group run by Kylie Bertucci. One of the perks of the group is an opportunity to hop! It’s been wonderful to hear from so many of the top 100 demonstrators. Lots of great ideas and examples. But, one of my favorite take aways thus far is the reinforcement of the idea that many roads lead to “Rome”. So, make it your way!
For today’s blog hop, we’ll all be sharing Sneak Peek products from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog!
Only 9 DAYS to wait!!
Label Me Pretty Birthday Card for Aim for Alaska
My color scheme is Soft Sky, Whisper White and Night of Navy.
This is a clean and simple card that had a little fun with punches!
Plus, just a bit of bling.
–
I used the Pretty Label Punch to punch a shape in the Whisper White layer.
Then, I stamped the “happy birthday” image from Label Me Pretty in Night of Navy.
Next, I added the Whisper White layer to the card using Dimensionals before adhering the punched label
with Multipurpose Glue.
The Soft Sky layer was also punched with the Pretty Label punch and then punched again to
slightly enlarge the hole.
Then, the Soft Sky layer was added with Dimensionals.
In the upper left corner, I stamped one end of an image from Label Me Pretty
in Night of Navy onto Soft Sky.
After adding the Soft Sky banner with Dimensionals,
I added a 1-1/2″ Circle Punch of Silver Glimmer Paper.
Then, I topped that circle with a 1-14/” Circle Punch of Whisper White stamped
with another image from Label Me Pretty.
I inked with my Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker to eliminate the middle.
To finish, I added a large Clear Faceted Gem and then three white sequins from
the Metallics Sequin Assortment.

Lovely colours and design Sara.
This is such a lovely color combo. I love the stamped image in the negative space — I did this the other day with the same punch and stamp set, but mine came out all crooked. 🙂
I’ll have to go look for yours.
