Affectionately Yours Table Treats

I decided to do something new when attending OnStage this past weekend. I usually take a bag or two of something to share. We all seem to get a little snacky as the afternoon wears on. Sharing is good! Sharing something that’s prettified makes it even better!!

Affectionately Yours Table Treats

I try to be healthy but…I also like a treat.

I made enough of these little treat bags to share with everyone

(whoever it might end up being) at my table.

I put in some walnuts and almonds (the healthy stuff)

and some pomegranate chocolates.

The 3″ x 6″ cellophane bags were perfect!

I slipped in a piece of

Affectionately Yours designer paper.

Then, I stamped a sentiment from Bunch of Blossoms in Watermelon Wonder onto Very Vanilla cardstock.

Using the Flower Medallion punch, I cut out the sentiment and a second

piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.

After gently shaping the petals with my Bone Folder,

I layered the flowers in an offset fashion.

So that I could add a piece of Linen Thread and make the flower a tag,

I punched a hole with the 1/8″ Handheld Punch.

The bag was wrapped with a piece of 5/8″ Cucumber Crush Mini Striped ribbon

that was tied with Linen Thread.

Tip: You can use your Bone Folder to curl the ends of the Linen Thread.

Once the tag was hung on the bags, I added a Basic Rhinestone as a finishing touch.
