Accented Blooms Sympathy Card

Hi!  Welcome to my blog.  I’m Sara Levin aka the artful inker.  I spent a fun afternoon making mini scrapbook albums with my Scrapbook Club.  Once we were done, I took some time to create an Accented Blooms Sympathy Card for one of my former team members.  This new stamp set made a perfect clean and simple card!

Accented Blooms Sympathy Card

 

 

For my clean and simple card, I used a base of Smoky Slate with a Whisper White focal layer.

Using Accented Blooms, I stamped the main image in Smoky Slate.

So that I could stamp it a second time to deepen the tone, I used my Stamparatus.

 

 

Next, I stamped a sentiment from Best Birds on Whisper White.

Using the Tailored Tag Punch, I cut a piece of Basic Gray.

Then, I used the punch to cut out the sentiment.

And, I used the punch again on the sentiment to adjust the size of the tag

so it is slightly smaller than the Basic Gray tag.

I love that the outline on the stamp for the tag shape is just a bit larger than a punched tag.

It adds a nice, subtle detail!
