Accented Blooms Hello

Hi!  Welcome to my blog.  I’m Sara Levin the artful inker.  Today has been a crazy busy creative day!!  First, I prepared my Paper Pumpkin alternatives for tomorrow’s blog hop.  Then, I created my project for the Stamping Sunday July Tutorial Bundle – just wait until you see it!!  This afternoon when I got to the creating to share with you — I decided it was time for a little coloring.  After looking through stamps, I decided to create an Accented Blooms Hello card.

Accented Blooms Hello

 

 

For this card, I started with a Thick Whisper White base.

Then, I added a layer of Granny Apple Green topped

with a Whisper White focal layer.

Using the large image in Accented Blooms, I stamped in Smoky Slate.

 

 

Next, I took some of my Stampin’ Blends

and colored the flowers surrounding the sentiment.

Taking the time to create shading is key to making the flowers beautiful.

Before adding the sentiment from Accented Blooms, I tucked in

some loops of Copper Metallic Thread.

Then, I finished the card with a few copper sequins.
