Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin theartfulinker. Yesterday on my YouTube Channel, Judith requested a New Year’s card. I had just finished some New Year’s Treat Tags for my daughter to take into her department at work and immediately knew that I would create the A Wish For Everything New Year’s Card and video that I’m sharing today.

A wish For Everything New Year’s Card

I have loved the color combination of the Snowflake Splendor Designer Paper.  But sadly, it has sold out.  So instead of using paper you can no longer get, I used the colors and snowflakes to create a similar light, bright feel for this New Year’s card.

Using the Winter Snow Embossing Folder, I embossed both the background layer.  And the circles cut from Coastal Cabana, Misty Moonlight and Purple Posy.  That’s such a gorgeous color combo!

Then, I used the Frost White Shimmer Paint to really amp up the shimmer and add even more depth to the embossed snowflakes.

For the sentiment, I used A Wish for Everything from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.  There’s a scattering of mini snowflakes in the background using a stamp from Festive Post.  Then, I punched it out using the Essential Tag Punch.  And added a double Faux Bow.

TIP:  When setting up your “happy new year’s” sentiment.  Do a test stamp before stamping on your project.  The “h” and the “y” look very similar.  And yes, I did stamp a few upside down and backwards before noticing.
