April 2021 Paper Pumpkin Alternate 1

For my first Paper Pumpkin alternate using the April 2021 kit, I couldn’t wait to use the popsicle.  Here I’ve paired it with brighter colors than on the posicle by using Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green.  Those two shades lift the color combo on the popsicle.

This “hey there” card is perfect for sending to kids, teens or anyone else who enjoys a cool treat.

Now if there’s a printed/lined envelope, I’m going to use at least one for an alternate.  Here, I’ve turned that Paper Pumpkin envelope into a layer for this alternate birthday card.  After adding layers of cardstock and designer paper to play with the colors in the diagonal stripe, I added a simple “happy birthday” banner.

This birthday card can be sent to just about anybody you know who is having a birthday.  It’s not too anything to keep it from being perfect for a wide range of ages.
