October 2021 Paper Pumpkin Alternative 1

The October Kit is just lovely! And can you say abundance!?! There’s so much to create with!! Yes, all of those exclamation points do indeed indicate how much I like this Kit.
As I began laying out the pieces to see what was in the kit, I had an almost immediate “ah ha” moment when looking at the vellum trees.
I love a little bling on a Christmas card. And so, I decided that Gilded Leafing was just the added touch I wanted for this first alternative card.
October 2021 Paper Pumpkin Alternative 2

I was so delighted to see the second card base that coordinates with one of my favorite designer papers from the Mini Catalog – Peaceful Place. I love the black, gray, white design with the foiled snowflakes. There’s a different kind of elegance about it.
For this second alternative card, I used one of those card bases. Then, I added Real Red accents just peeking out to add a hint of color but not take away from the beautiful base design. A layered die Hippo and Friends die, some Real Red Sheer Ribbon and a scattering of Rhinestone Basic Jewels finishes this pretty card.
