Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin aka the artfulinker. Today is the A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop May Good Things Grow. We’re using the fifth anniversary Paper Pumpkin kit. The design team is sharing lots of fabulous alternate card and 3d creations using the March 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit. Let’s get started!
A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop May Good Things Grow
The March 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit included lots of fabulous products
including a set of wood elements.
The elements were an added gift to celebrate 5 years of Paper Pumpkin.
For my alternate card, I used one of the Crumb Cake card bases from the kit.
Then, I deconstructed one of the pretty envelopes and
used part of the inside for the striped layer.
So that I could still use that lovely scallop piece from the original envelope,
I used the Gift Bag Punch Board to make a new pouch style envelope.
Next, I used the May Good Things Grow stamp set to stamp flowers and leaves.
For two of the flowers, I used my stylus to add some dimension.
And, I stamped the leaves on pieces cut with the Leaf Punch.
You’ll need to stamp one leaf at a time.
For the sentiment, I stamped on a piece of Crumb Cake that I cut with
a Stitched Shapes Framelit.
I layered this over one of the wood elements.
And behind the wood elements layer, I used some of the Fresh Fig ribbon from the kit
and frayed it.

Project 2
For the box, I used Fresh Fig and Crumb Cake cardstock.
To create it, I used the Gift Bag Punch Board.
Here’s a short video so that you can make this Gift Bag Punch Board gift box!
On the top, I added another of the wood elements from the kit.
Then, I punched leaves from the deconstructed envelope.
In the top right, I tucked in some of the Fresh Fig ribbon.
And finally, I used more of the deconstructed envelope to make the flowers.
Here’s a quick video for making the tea roses.

Thanks Lori! I just love the lined enveloped that gave us — they’re beautiful inside and out to create with.
Beautiful card, and I literally gasped when I saw the box with the little roses! Thanks, Sara!
