A paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop Bouquet of Hope

For my first alternate for the Bouquet of Hope kit, I used one of the Rococo Rose card bases from the kit to create the first layer. Then, I added some of the coordinating Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Ribbon that you can find in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.

Next, I die cut a circle from Shimmery White cardstock using my favorite Stitched Shapes Dies. I think I reach for these dies more than any others. For color, I added a light watercolor wash. Then, I stamped the pretty bouquet from the Bouquet of Hop stamp set.

Finally, I stamped part of one of the sentiment from this month’s stamp set and accented it with some of the Mossy Meadow Linen Trim before adding a few of the Adhesive Backed Sequins.
Bouquet of Hope Alternate 2

You’ve got to love the printed card bases in the kit! I love them so much that I usually cut them in two so that I can get twice as many cards from each one.

This time, I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies for my layer. These are another of my favorites. In the corner, I stamped the trio of flowers from this month’s kit using Rococo Rose.

And on the opposite corner, I added one of the pretty floral die cuts. Then, I finished with some Adhesive Back Sequins.
