I had the second of my Tea Time classes today. This one was by request — a day time class instead of an evening class. After making our cards and the tea caddy, I started thinking about what to share with you today. I decided on sharing one of the cards we made in class. But, I wanted to play with a sentiment…to come up with something funny/mildly amusing. You can be the judge of how well I succeeded!.
As you may have guessed from the title of this post, I used A Nice Cuppa.
I started with a base of Lost Lagoon and added a layer of Whisper White.
Next, is a Crushed Curry banner cut with the Banner Triple punch.
Working your way up, you’ll find a small Gold Metallic Doily that has been layered with a circle of Botanical Gardens designer paper.
The teacup from A Nice Cuppa was inked in Lost Lagoon and then cut with one of the Cups and Kettles framelits.
As I mentioned, I created the sentiment.
I wanted something tea themed and this is what I came up with.
The Alphabet Rotary stamp was perfect for creating this “original” sentiment.
It was inked in Basic Gray and stamped on Whisper White. Then the words were cut apart and added to the card.
Piece of cake! That needs A Nice Cuppa!
