I hope you’re enjoying the sneak peeks of Sale-A-Bration products. I don’t know about you but, I think there’s nothing like seeing the Stampin’ Up! products in action. Today, I’m using See Ya Later. I’m think there will be a second one of these sets in my future. The images and typography are fun and I plan to cut them apart. Well, maybe I need two more. Thank goodness I have time to earn them.
Today I went with a very muted color scheme.
I started with a Smoky Slate base and added piece at the top of the card that’s been embossed with the Cloudy Day embossing folder. This folder is retired but can currently be found on the Clearance Rack. I think it coordinates perfectly with the sentiment I chose for today’s card. Moving right along, my Soft Sky cloud was cut with a Word Bubble framelit and placed on a Stampin’ Dimensionals. The next layer is a strip of Sweet Sorbet designer series paper. (I can’t get over the range of patterns in this pack.) The sentiment is from See Ya Later, another free product with a qualifying order during Sale-A-Bration. I’ve stamped in Soft Sky on Whisper White. In the Chalk Talk framelits, you’ll find three little slot cutters. I used one of those to cut my slot on the left side of the sentiment layer. Then, I threaded through a piece of Summer Starfruit 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon and added a Very Vintage Designer button. Add a couple more dimensionals under the Whisper White layer and a couple of Glue Dots to adhere the ribbon/button combination and you’re done.
