I’ve had part of this idea in the back of my head for months. But, I wasn’t sure what I wanted the card to look like. Today I decided it was now or never. And, if you haven’t made your Christmas cards yet, this one would be fairly quick and easy to duplicate.
It’s been a while since I created some punch art, but that’s what I’ve done for Card 10 in my 10 Days of Christmas series.
The wings on my Angel have been sitting on table for a couple of months. I just wasn’t sure how I wanted to use them. In fact, I’ll bet you’ll be surprised by what was used to create them. More on that later.
The star background on my Whisper White layer was made using the Stars Decorative Mask (it arrived at my house last night) and Silver Metallic ink.
I used an Oval Framelits to cut her body and arms from a piece in the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack.
Her hands are two hearts from the Hearts Border punch.
For her head, I used the 1 3/8″ circle punch. Her hair is the same size punch from Silver Glimmer paper and a 1 1/4″ circle punched from the center.
The base card is Lost Lagoon cardstock followed by a layer of Brushed Silver cardstock.
Did you guess what I used for the wings? It’s the ghost from Fun Fall Framelits. I used it to cut Filter Paper and then used my 2 Way Glue Pen to adhere some Dazzling Diamonds.
Leave me a comment and let me know if you guessed correctly for her wings.
