Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop September 2018 Masculine Theme

Hi!  Welcome to my blog.  I’m Sara Levin the artful inker.  And today, I’m participating in the Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop September 2018.  We’ve got approximately 15 masculine themed scrapbook layouts to share with you today.

Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop September 2018

Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop September 2018 Masculine Theme

Having a theme completely works with the way I like to scrapbook –

design first….then add photos.

For this page, I started with a piece of Whisper White 12″ x 12″

Then, I added a piece of Best Route designer paper.

Next, I stamped a strip with Buffalo Check in Night of Navy.

Using the Stamparatus, I was able to line up the stamped image to run along the strip.

Over that, I added punched pieces in Crushed Curry.

And on top, I have a Night of Navy photo mat that I trimmed with Best Route washi

and White Baker’s Twine.

Over on the right, I added two square of Galvanized Metallic Paper

that I embossed with the Tin Tile Dynamic Embossing Folder.

Then, I laid down some lines of Best Route washi before

adding the next two photo mats to finish this masculine, geometric layout.

This is one of my favorite DSP sets, especially since I have young boys in school. Love what you have done, great layout.

Thanks Sharon! I think those two elements might need to spend time together on other creations.
