Rose Wonder Wine Tag

When I got up this morning and checked my Twitter account, I was amused to see that one of the trending tags (already) was #NationalDrinkWineDay.  It was 5a.m. … on the East Coast!  That’s some serious tweeting about wine early this morning.  It did however trigger my creative thought for the day.  And that is, we’re headed into a celebratory time of year.  So I thought, “I should make a wine bottle gift tag.”

Using Rose Wonder, I created a clean and simple tag.

Rose Wonder CAS Wine Bottle Gift Tag from

The Blackberry Bliss cardstock makes a lush background (and happens to look great with my bottle).  The tag measures 3 x 8 1/2″.

I scored at 2 1/2″ and used the 1 3/8″ circle punch for the hole used to slip the tag over the bottle.  I also rounded the corners at the top of the tag.

The Whisper White layer measures 2 1/2″ x 7 7/8″.  I stamped the large image from Rose Wonder in Blackberry Bliss and used it to fill most of the tag.

Next, I used the Hello You Thinlits to cut “you” out of Blackberry Bliss.  “You” was attached before the final stamping.  This gave me a better visual for spacing.

Finally, I stamped “for” from Crazy About You in Blackberry Bliss.

This is a quick and easy tag for #NationalDrinkWineDay.

So grab your Rose Wonder and make a tag.  Then grab your bottle of wine and a friend and enjoy #NationalDrinkWineDay (but not too much).

Oh yeah – don’t forget that Blackberry Bliss will be retiring at the end of May.
