One of my new team members promoted towards the end of last month. So today, I thought I’d get up and a create a card to send off to her. I chose to play with Lovely Inside & Out with Embossing Paste. How celebratory the card looks!!
In case you missed out on my Sunday Chat yesterday, here it is. Enjoy!
Lovely Inside & Out with Embossing Paste
This celebratory card starts with a Bermuda Bay card base.
Then, I stamped a random pattern using an image from Lovely Inside & Out,
in Archival Basic Black and Versamark.
Gold heat embossing was the order of the day for the Versamark images.
Next, I cut my own mask from Window Sheet using the “congrats” die from Sunshine Wishes.
Washi tape is perfect for holding your mask in place!
And just a drop or two of ink refill is all that is needed to tint the Embossing Paste.
I used Bermuda Bay ink refill.
You’ll want to work fairly quickly with the Embossing Paste.
Tip: If you’ve got a larger area or several spots to add Embossing Paste, put some on a piece of plastic wrap and cover the unused portion while working. It will help keep it from drying out.
The heat embossed images want to allow the Embossing Paste to pull away.
So, be sure to use a heavier hand rather than trying for a light skim coat.
Once the Embossing Paste was almost set, I added Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
To add the strip of Mini Sequin Trim, I used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets.
Perfect for adhering this narrow trim!!
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Lovely Inside & Out with Embossing Paste card!
