Anybody else have lots of graduations coming? How about several in the same family? That’s my situation. So, I’ve been making graduation cards. Now, I don’t have a graduation specific stamp set so I get to be a little creative. In that vein, today Lovely Friends meets Perfectly Wrapped. I think they got on well with each other! Let’s take a look!.
Lovely Friends Meets Perfectly Wrapped
I love the large sentiments in Perfectly Wrapped!
“Kudos” seemed just the thing to say to someone
who is about to graduate from college.
To give it a shiny, raised appearance, I added Fine Tip Glue.
The flowers are from Lovely Friends.
They are created using a two step stamp.
I stamped off for the base and then at full strength for the center.
Using dies from Lovely Laurels Thinlits, I cut out the leaves,
flowers and tag for the sentiment.
All of these elements were added to a Night of Navy layer
embossed with the Petal Burst folder.
Inside, I’ve stayed with the Melon Mambo, Lemon Lime Twist and Night of Navy color combo.
I used the Lovely Laurel Thinlits to create the
pop up element.
And, used another sentiment from Perfectly Wrapped.
Though I initially used the white center line for yesterday’s video (here).
As I put today’s card together, I found I really liked the way it draws your eye in!
I’ll be doing that again!!
