Kelly's Stamping Friends Blog Hop Banner

Welcome to Kelly’s Stamping Friends Blog Hop.  We are an international group of demonstrators.   Today we’re celebrating Kelly’s five year anniversary by sharing with you! The theme for today’s hop is “Happy”.  Since friends make me happy, I decided to create with the new stamp set Lovely Inside and Out for Kelly’s Stamping Friends Blog Hop.

Lovely Inside and Out for Kelly’s Stamping Friends Blog Hop

Lovely Inside and Out stamp set

Here’s a quick peek at the Lovely Inside and Out stamp set.

LOVE the combination of sentiment sizes and the fun background images!

Now this is what I did with it.

Lovely Inside and Out card for Kelly's Stamping Friends blog hop from theartfulinker.com

My card has a Soft Sky base layered with

a just slightly smaller piece of Basic Black.

The layers are 1/8″ smaller than each other.

Next, I stamped a random pattern with one of the background images in Soft Sky.

Then, I used Memento Black to stamp the word “Friend”.

The narrow Basic Black strip is actually the 1/8″ trimmed from the Basic Black layer.

It made a perfect accent!

To finish the card, I added sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Lovely Inside and Out card!

Some product details are below and others have to wait until June 1.

Wow! I love the colours in your card – and what a great idea for your strip of cardstock to be an accent – love it, and I will have to remember to try this idea too. Thank you.
