My original card, had lots of layering of elements

and I decided to stay with that sytle.

To start my Beautiful Peacock card, I used a square Pacific Point base.

Over that, I added a layer of Eastern Palace designer paper.

Are you like me and sometimes forget to look at the “other” side of the designer paper.

This Lemon Lime Twist paper was a happy discovery!

Next, I have a layer of Pool Party topped by the focal piece.

To create the background tail feathers, I stamped images from

Beautiful Peacock, Lovely Wishes and Petal Palette.

Then, I die cut Vellum leaves to add a nice, soft layer.

After stamping feathers in Melon Mambo, I cut them out by hand.

Once the Silver Glimmer Paper scallop was added, I adhered the peacock’s body.

To finish, I added Iridescent Sequins and Rhinestones.

Thank you for stopping by today and checking out my Beautiful Peacock card

for the International Highlights Winner’s Blog Hop March 2018.
