Everything Eleanor for TSOT225

Today, I’m sharing my design team creation for TSOT225.  Sketches are always a fun challenge for me as they are opposite of my usual creative process.  Most of the time, I start by reaching for a stamp set that strikes my fancy and then I figure out what I’m going to do with it.  But with a sketch, I have to figure out how to fill in the details.  It’s good to change things up!

For the sketch, I chose to work with Everything Eleanor.

The flourish inked in Tip Top Taupe, and stamped several times, was perfect for filling the focal area.  I was careful to line up the flourish that bleeds over onto the Blushing Bride so that it appears to just continue across the card.  Everybody needs a stamp set with a good flourish and Everything Eleanor fits the bill.

The sentiment, also in Tip Top Taupe, is a mash up of words from Crazy About You.  I have the set in photopolymer which makes it extremely easy to match/line up words to make phrases.

The butterfly started with layer of Gold Foil cut with the Bold Butterfly framelits.  It was layered with a piece of Neutrals designer paper cut with Butterflies Thinlits and finished with a string of the smallest Basic Pearls.  The shiny Gold Foil peaking through the filigree makes this butterfly the perfect accent for this simple card.

Thanks LeAnne, that might be my favorite part of the card.
