Hi!  Welcome to my blog.  I’m Sara Levin the artful inker.  It’s Christmas Eve and I thought I’d share a clean and simple Animal Outing for Christmas card.  I made several of these cards for an order from a young adult who requested clean lines and a fun design. You’ll love this cute, easy card!

Start with a Thick Whisper White base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″

Then, add a layer of Bermuda Bay: 4″ x 5-1/4″

For the focal layer, cut Whisper White to 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″

If you’re going to make several of these, set up two plates on your Stamparatus.

One for the rhino from Animal outing and the other

for the sentiment from Peaceful Noel.

After stamping the rhino in Smoky Slate, gather your Stampin’ Blends.

Create the rhino’s sweater first, using: Dark and Light Shaded Spruce,

Dark and Light Bermuda Bay, and Dark Pool Party.

To color the rhino, use Dark and Light Smoky Slate.

Then, add a Light Pool Party shadow around his feet.

Finish by adding a generous brushing of clear Wink of Stella

to his horn.
