About Me

Me-small

Hi! My name is Sara Levin, aka The Artful Inker.  For years my friends have been calling me an “artist”. In my head, I’m just a girl who creates cards and other things with stamps, ink and paper.  They say, “call yourself a collage artist.”  I think, “okay, I’ve made collages since elementary school and cards are a kind of collage.”

My dad and I were always trying out some new craft as I grew up.  There are days when I’m creating that he is very present.  I think he would be amused (in a good way) that this is the way I spend my days.

My Stampin’ Up! business allows me to provide you with high quality products. Your purchases allow me to continue to share my creative endeavors.  I have a wandering eye and limited attention span.  This means I am constantly looking for new design trends, trying new styles and imagining new types of projects that can be created with paper. I’m one of those people who wants to figure out a variety of ways a product can be used.

Doing something creative is balm for the soul and making something with your own hands is very satisfying.  Creating can be either a social or private activity.  And, the items you create can be for yourself or to share with others.  Spending some time exploring your creativity (and yes, everyone can be creative) can make you more creative and productive in other parts of your life.  Whatever your creative needs, I’m here to help.

I want to be your creative catalyst.  So, I share what I know and continue to learn through almost daily samples, regularly scheduled classes, kits, tutorials and videos.  If you don’t see what you would like to learn/try, just ask me.

I believe in the old fashioned notions of good customer service and an obligation to give back to the community in which I live.  Through my Stampin’ Up! business I am able to do both. I organize a number of service projects and fundraisers throughout the year. And, whether you live near me or farther away, I’m here to provide you with personal service.

Testimonials:

Thank you so much for all your help.  Your kindness is so much appreciated. I had such a good time and feel so much better that things are on the move. I loved working with you and really enjoyed your talent.  I had an idea of what I wanted and what I like and I felt so good that you were working with me to feel out my ideas.  I was afraid there would not be choices I would like.  I love what I picked.  I like the fact that I could use my creative edge!
I just can’t thank you both enough!

Sara, I am a hobby demo so could I purchase the tutorial? It is just so beautiful and my family would go crazy over it.

Sara, I would love to find out how to make a card just like the one you posted for Easter. Where can I find instructions to make that beautiful card?

Patricia ~ I will try to have a tutorial ready the first of the week. Today, the light isn’t cooperating for photographs.

Please leave a comment, I love to hear what you have to say!
